Foreign Language study helps promote communication within the student community and the world at large. North Cobb’s International Studies Program requires students to study four years of a foreign language. Three of these years must concentrate on one language. Students may either continue to study the same language for their fourth year or pursue a new language. North Cobb High School offers an extensive collection of world languages.
These include:

• Spanish (1-5 and AP)
• French (1-4 and AP)
• German (1-4 and AP)
• Portuguese (1-3)
• Latin (1-4 and AP)
• Japanese (1-4 and AP—proposed)
• Chinese
• Arabic
