Building for the Global Century
Foreign Language Proficiency
Foreign Language study helps promote communication within the student community and the world at large. North Cobb’s International Studies Program requires students to study four years of a foreign language. Three of these years must concentrate on one language. Students may either continue to study the same language for their fourth year or pursue a new language. North Cobb High School offers an extensive collection of world languages.
These include:
- Spanish (1-5 and AP)
- French (1-4 and AP)
- German (1-4 and AP)
- Portuguese (1-3)
- Latin (1-4 and AP)
- Japanese (1-4 and AP—proposed)
- Chinese
- Arabic
