Magnet 9th Grade Orientation: July 20th and 21st, 9:30-12:30

• We have a magnet orientation for incoming 9^th grade students on Thursday the 20^th and Friday the 21^st of July, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
  • Attendance is not mandatory, but it’s encouraged.  We will hold informational sessions on each of the core freshman classes and we’ll explore ways to get involved, avoid common mistakes, and make an impact on the larger campus community.
  • Please drop your child off in the Freshman Academy.  The best drop-off is to use the upper parking log (near the band tower) off of Nowlin Road.  Students can walk down the stairs and enter the 9^th Grade Academy on the Right.
  • Pick up will be at 12:30 in the same parking lot.
  • We recommend each child bring something to write with.  Nothing else is needed.
  • We will have a Q and A session with parents from 11:45 to 12:30 on Friday (as your children finish their orientation).  All parents interested should come to the 9^th Grade Academy cafeteria to participate.
